Rain Barrels and The Toilet

This summer we have been building basic DIY rain barrels for people who have asked. Today we sold one to a gentleman who was using one for using one for more then just watering the garden. It seems that he just bought a cottage up in Northern Ontario and has decided that a rain barrel would be great for flushing his toilet.

Normally we would recommend buying one of our Multoa composting toilets for this type of application as it is much more environmentally friendly but at least he is not using a gas generator to pull the water from the lake!

I have asked him to send me pictures of the configuration, when he does I will post them here.
